Zbigniew Seifert (1946 - 1979) - Polish jazz violinist, violin class graduated from the State Academy of Music in Krakow.
First, he played alto saxophone. During his studies, he founded his own quartet and started working with Tomasz Stanko. During his studies he founded as a saxophonist own jazz quartet; He also sought cooperation with Tomasz Stanko, whose quartet he served from 1969 to 1973. 1973 Seifert moved to West Germany and collaborated with Hans Koller (artificial head Indians, 1974). Since 1976, he signed the CDs with his own name: solo violin, man of light. In 1977 he published his first American album. The first Polish plate Seifert: Kilimanjaro Kilimanjaro and 2, a recording of the concert on 14 November 1978 in Krakow club "Pod Jaszczurami".
